Advanced course „Shibari Wonderland“

First steps into the land of emotional bondage

In this Shibari workshop, we will focus on the diverse emotional and physical effects you can achieve with a single bondage technique. Technical aspects of bondage and a theoretical section on consent and boundaries will round out the course. The roles you initially define will be maintained throughout the workshop.

We will learn a new upper body restraint technique, which we will combine with a new leg restraint technique. Different body positions will then allow us to discover the various effects for both the rigger and the angel (the person being restrained).

Prerequisites for this course are that the person doing the tying has already attended the "Basic Shibari Course" or has equivalent prior knowledge. This course is part 2 of the introductory module.

More information

Comfortable but close-fitting clothing is suitable for bondage. Whether you prefer short shirts/shorts or long clothes is entirely up to you. Please avoid overly slippery fabrics (e.g., polyester leggings), as this will make bondage unnecessarily difficult.

Please bring a blanket, a sweater/thick socks to put on and keep warm.

Ropes will be provided for everyone. If you already have your own ropes and would like to use them, please feel free to bring them along.
